Today the protagonist of our column "Borgo Scopeto according to the staff" is Serena.
Serena comes from Naples and has been working in Borgo Scopeto since 2017 and over the years has dealt with Reception and Events affairs, acquiring professionalism and trust until she became our Room Division Manager.
What is your favorite place of the Borgo?
My favorite place of the Borgo is the arch that leads from the wisteria of the main garden to building 9 "Il Borgo"; is a wonderful window onto the entire Sienese countryside.
The most beautiful view or landscape in your opinion?
My favorite landscape is from an unusal persepctive, because is the one seen from above of the Roccolo
What activities would you suggest that the hotel offers (inside and out)?
For a contact with nature and animals, a horseback ride. To see the landscape and the Tuscan hills a Vespa tour. To learn the secrets of the tradition of Tuscan cuisine, a cooking class with our chefs.
Surroundings to visit?
Definitely Siena and the Castello di Brolio, but also the Crete Senesi.
Which wine do you prefer from our cellars?
My favorite wine is Altesino's Brunello di Montalcino.
A dish from the La Tinaia restaurant?
It was an appetizer from last summer that I really enjoyed; Octopus, shrimp and squid with peach soup and buristo sand.
What do you think of the Borgo Scopeto Relax Spa? Are there any treatments or cosmetics you prefer?
Among our cosmetics, the olive and sage face cream leaves my skin very soft without weighing it down.
