Today the protagonist of our “Borgo Scopeto according to the staff” column is Beatrice.
Beatrice was born in Cento (Ferrara) but lives in the province of Siena, she is a veteran of Borgo Scopeto; from 2000 to 2010 she worked in our winery, while from 2020 to today she works in the Accounting Department of our Relais.
What is your favorite place of the Borgo?
The garden of Villa il Giardino, because it gives me so much serenity.
The most beautiful view or landscape in your opinion?
Undoubtedly the view of Siena from the terrace of the La Tinaia restaurant.
What activities would you suggest that the hotel offers (inside and out)?
Yoga and pilates, bodyweight exercises, but also Nordic walking and bike tours. In short, any physical activity to do outdoors.
Surroundings to visit?
A visit to Siena certainly cannot be missed. But also the Castello di Brolio and the Certosa di Pontignano are absolutely worth seeing.
Which wine do you prefer from our cellars?
The Borgonero, and if I may add, I highly recommend the olive oil too!
A dish from the La Tinaia restaurant?
At the La Tinaia restaurant I recommend the cod. While for breakfast the Caprese cake, with almonds and cocoa from our pastry chef; simply divine.
What do you think of the Borgo Scopeto Relax Spa? Are there any treatments or cosmetics you prefer?
I love our little SPA very much, because it is a very private and exclusive place, you can really relax.
